Alive With Dance - Susan Leiter

Susan Leiter is exceptionally well known for her passion for teaching and commitment to her craft. Having trained in all levels and styles of both Latin and Smooth dances from an early age—including performance techniques and choreography—she has gone on to teach dance for more than 32 years. Susan has competed professionally in the United States Ballroom Championships and the World Professional Smooth and Latin Ballroom Dance Championships in Madison Square Garden, where she and her partner placed within the top 8 of the world's 57 best professional teams. Today, Susan passes her skills on to a variety of students of all ages and levels throughout the United States who want to hone their technique in both private and group settings. She is also the organizer and resident teacher of one of Baltimore’s longest running and most successful salsa nights. Susan is patient, funny, and takes great pride in explaining how to do what seem like impossible moves to even the most beginner students.
